I pour boiling water over the rice! I learned this at a restaurant. It’s the most delicious rice I’ve ever eaten.

1 carrot

2 cloves of garlic (for the sauce)
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
A handful of green beans
1 bell pepper (red or green)
Salt and pepper to taste
Boiling water

Preparation
1. Prepare the rice:
Rinse the rice several times until the water runs clear.
In a saucepan, heat 40ml vegetable oil over medium heat and lightly brown the rice, stirring constantly.
Add enough boiling water to cover the rice, about 2 cups, and 2 teaspoons salt. Cover the saucepan with a lid and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through and dry.
2. Prepare the sauce base:
Finely chop the onion, garlic cloves, and carrot.
