Quick steps:
1. Cook the pasta (if it is not pre-cooked):
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the meat sauce (5 minutes):
Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Sauté the onion and garlic until they are soft and fragrant.
Add the minced meat and cook until browned.
Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Assemble the dish (2 to 3 minutes):
In an ovenproof dish:
Layer of pasta → meat sauce → spoonfuls of ricotta → mozzarella and parmesan.
Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
Finish with a generous layer of mozzarella on top.
4. Bake or grill (5 minutes):
Place under the grill of a hot oven or bake at 220°C (425°F) for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra vegetables
A pinch of chili flakes for spice
Replace the minced meat with lentils or vegetable crumbles for a vegetarian version.
